Honestly, I had a lot of different jobs in my life, you can read the resume below, but this made me flexible. All the change helped me to evolve and not to stay stuck. Not for all money in the world! So I had to find my way through it, to become what I am today. I love the Swiss mountain where I am originating from. I speak German, Englisch and Spanisch and If you want so a little bit French, but don’t overrate me.

I travel as often as I can to gain inspiration and new perspectives.I am a flexible, talented, experienced graphic designer. For the last several years, I have more or less been a one woman shop operator, as a small full service creative agency. 95% of my clients have come to me through word of mouth and almost all are repeat customers. Btina created a absolut stunning website for my belongings as a Beauty Specialist. She made out of my trashy website a brilliant company site, with a modern touch and clear overview. My customer find it easy to find my services which I offer on the website. The colors suit exactly my wishes and the clean and professional style suites to my company. She also informed me about updates and backend stuff with dummy instructions, so I could even change texts on my own, if I want to. A super service, that I appreciate. She also ranked my site on the top of google search, which is fantastic!


2014 | Bastian Flury, Project Manager at the World Food System Center, ETH Zurich

For a student research project on sustainable catering at ETH Zurich we needed information material (logos, product labels and information material) that would be perceived by customers as part of a much larger campaign based on a limited budget and within a short timeframe. Btina did such a convincing design- and layout work for the “climate-friendly choice”-campaign that we decided to collaborate with her again on the next campaign “liebe Dein Essen – restlos”. Btina exceeded our expectations also for this second assignment and we would be delighted to collaborate with her again, anytime!

Through carrying out these tasks, Bettina demonstrated her ability to generate creative designs to fulfill specific briefs. Marketing and Advertising integrated communications for national and international companies. Jung von Matt (JvM) is an advertising agency headquartered in Hamburg, Germany, with 24 affiliates in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Sweden, China, Poland and the Czech Republic. Jung von Matt is the second biggest owner-run German advertising agency, behind Serviceplan.

Within 3 months, in this two man agency, I had the opportunity to improve my knowledge, in Photoshop specific work. Mostly modeling photos for popular adverts like Swiss Tourism. I also helped working on the new illustration, pattern, for a Ski Jacket collection and building up a corporate design for an Italian Restaurant.

2010 | Screenlounge, ZürichGraphic Internship

This was my first Graphic Internship in my career as a Graphic Designer. It was the first step on my leather target, so all was new to me. At the same time I also started with the preparatory study at the Zurich University. At Screenlounge I learned step by step using Adobe Illustrator and I had a lot of fun! Kitchen Saleswoman

Integrated with my sales team, I learned a lot from them and there was a lot to know about. Material, Artikel and observation in conversation with the client. IKEA is like a big family and I had a good time. It was also interesting to see behind the scenes in such a big company like IKEA. Everybody had their own tasks to fulfill, for rolling the business and at the same time answering the question from the customers.

Language Studie Abroad, Pre-Intermediate

While the hard times, I could not find a job, I benefit from three month intensive language study in Brighton, UK. Yes, I had some English at School in Switzerland but I couldn’t really talk. So, this was the first time I intensively faced myself with Englisch, even I was homesick. But I improved my English very well!

I worked in the daily business, in a one man Manpower Office in Basel. I had basic tasks like picking up the telephone take care of customers and writing letters. I could improve my skills as an office assistant.

Office Internship

As an Office Allrounder I was integrated into the whole process of the Building Contractors Company, which was Van Wijk AG. I was running the phone and welcomed costumes to their appointment. The first time, I was involved in advising of kitchen furniture and talking to customers about kitchen and materias.

Office Internship

At the same time, while I was working for Unit GmbH, I started with the commercial school. I came in touch with accounting and made my effort of it. It was my first Office Internship.

2003 – 2004 | Media Markt, Basel


I couldn’t move on with my profession as a gardener because of allergy issues. Therefore, I started as a cashier in an electronic market, in my transition. I learned a lot about counting money and smiling at people. It was an intensive work, especially at weekends and to be honest, it’s not easy to work on an only women’s team!

2002 – 2003 | Coop Supermarket, Bubendorf


This was my last work as a Gardener and Florist, because I had this issue with chemicals in plants, with heavy allergic reactions. Therefore I was forced to change my profession. But apart from that I had the ability to create bouquets on customers wishes and on the same time I had the opportunity to improve my ability as a sales person.

2001 – 2002 | Migros Dreispitz, Basel


Migros is like a identification in Switzerland, because the founder was a known Swiss guy who inventet the company Migro as a cooperative. So, for me it was kind a prowdness to work for Migros. And it was my first Job ever, after the Apprenticeship. I had the ability to create bouquets on customers wishes and on the same time I had the opportunity to improve my ability as a sales person.

1997 – 2000 | Vocational school and apprenticeship as a gardener, St. Gallen and RorschachGardener

After School, I decided to become a Gardener. Gladly I found this possibility at a medium size company named Blumen Tschopp in St. Gallen. To be honest, it was a tuff start in the world of work. Apart from rising nice flowers and plants, it was also a heavy body action, where I had to move soil around, work stooping over the flowers which was not really healthy for my back. But apart from that I was enjoying myself in learning Botanic and get to know all the existing plants, where in Europ grow. After three years of apprenticeship I didn’t passed the final exam. But one year later after school reputation I had my examen and I could move on.
